Another advantage of owning an SKS is that it shoots 7.62X39 ammo, which is one of the best calibers for preppers. A big reason for this is that 7.62×39 is cheap and easy to find. Anyone have any strong opinions about these compared to other SKS? For ~$400, it seems like one of the better deals available in the current markets.
